Project for Women’s Transitional Housing
The APPNA Maryland chapter is pleased to collaborate with ICNA Relief in helping raise funds for women who are victims of domestic abuse and homelessness with the Transitional housing project.
This project in collaboration with ICNA Relief offers an alternative for homeless women in need of temporary sleeping accommodations. The program maintains the dignity of their clients while affording them the opportunity to heal and develop themselves within a nurturing environment. Women are provided with one-on-one support while they transition to permanent stable housing.
With the rise in homelessness and the lack of affordable housing, the program has expanded across the country to ensure there is a safe alternative for those who find themselves homeless. ICNA Relief and now APPNA Maryland chapter provides culturally sensitive case management in a halal environment which fosters healing and growth while our clients work towards self-sufficiency.
With 24 facilities in total, and over 3,000 individuals served since inception, the housing program is changing lives!
Please join the APPNA Maryland chapter in our goal to collaborate with ICNA Relief and donate funds to help sustain this worthy project to help women in situations of domestic violence and homelessness.
The donations are zakat eligible. All funds donated are tax deductible as both APPNA Maryland chapter and ICNA Relief are 501c status.
The Maryland APPNA chapter has personally visited the local Maryland transitional housing and is proud to help serve the women in need. All funds are judiciously used for materials to help the designated population.
