Adopt A School
APPNA Maryland chapter will collaborate with HDF to contribute funds to cover the annual operational costs of its Secondary School in Kalyah, Islamabad enabling HDF to maintain
academic standards, provide essential resources, and nurture the minds of the students enrolled therein.
About the HDF Secondary School, Kalyah, Islamabad Kalya, a village consisting of two hamlets, Kalya and Dhoke Tabarik Shaheed, is home to approximately 4,202 residents across 533 households. Located 40 kilometers from Pakistan’s capital, it once faced a significant education crisis with a large portion of children out of school. Recognizing this challenge, HDF became a pioneer in providing quality education to the community, establishing non-formal schools in October 2002.
